ihavenomouth submits:
+watch/+friends/etc.: A list of people who you are 'watching', or that are your friends.
If the game supports it, I like being notified when they log off and on, and being able to decide -not- to be notified if I so choose.
Naturally there's the ability to add people to the list, to remove people from the list, and the ability to 'clean up' the list so that non-player objects are removed.
I also like the ability to write a short note about each person. For instance, I could write, 'Sarah's alt' or 'need a scene with her'.
Ability to view the entire list, offline and on, or just those who are online is also a plus.
Perhaps there would be need to be some upper limit on how many people you could keep track of, but I'd like it to be quite high.
- On my games, I allow people to put "Friends" into arbitrary groups, and assign colors to these groups. On +who and +where, if someone is in a friend-group, they are highlighted with that color. Just an idea.
- There's also no technical reason why such a list needs any kind of limit. Ixokai 19:47, 25 October 2007 (EDT)
